Council for Unity (CFU)

Maddipatal Foundation, Chairman Mr. Krishna Maddipatla is a board of director of Council for Unity which is a 501(c)(3) organization that offers customized curriculum, training, and technical assistance to schools, communities, police departments, and correctional facilities. Our program is designed to promote family, unity, self-esteem, empowerment, tolerance, and achievement.

The CFU model, which teaches essential interpersonal and life skills such as leadership, self-expression, mediation, conflict resolution, and advocacy, helps reduce and resolve personal conflicts, (gang) violence, bullying, and intolerance. Participants gain greater self-awareness, self-esteem, and social skills, as well as a greater understanding of, and appreciation for, diversity and community. Another positive outcome is greater academic and workplace success.

Technical assistance is also available through weekly on-site coordination by highly trained CFU staff who provide support and guidance for clients. Training for teachers and advisors is also provided to ensure that the maximum benefits of the Council’s curricula are realized.

CFU awarded Mr. Krishna Maddipatla, as Man of the Year Award for the Year 2017 and also honored for his services in 2018

Vocational Training Program:

SIMHA is a vocational training program targeted towards economically disadvantaged youth/adult in the 18–50 age groups. While a large number of jobs are emerging in Health care and Information Technology, our youth/adults (changing careers) are not able to do these jobs due to a lack of relevant skills and finances. This has created significant unemployment or underemployment. SIMHA program will help youth/adults in basic foundation skills to make them more employable in today’s competitive world.

The SIMHA program: Trains youth/adults (changing careers) relevant skills such as:
